Tonggu traditional oil pressing technique (county-level intangible cultural heritage protection project) Tonggu has always had the traditional oil pressing technique using special oil pressing containers. Tea seeds are shelled after being exposed to strong sunlight for several times, and then rapeseeds are dehydrated in a pot until cooked, ground, and put into the press. The press is made of a whole large round wood with a diameter of about one meter, with a cavity of more than 10 centimeters. The press is suspended half a meter above the ground, straw is placed in the cavity, and ground tea seeds are placed, and then the round wood is inserted and another round wood is suspended in the air, forming a pendulum-like shape. The waterwheel is used to generate power to start the large millstone to run and hit the round wood in the cavity, and then the wood tip is added to hit it again, and the oil is squeezed out under pressure. The oil squeezed out in this way retains its own nutrients without loss.
