Lixiahe Sugar Sculpture (Funing Sugar Painting), a traditional skill project in the fifth batch of representative projects of municipal intangible cultural heritage. Sugar painting originated more than 400 years ago. Sugar is used as the material for modeling. The tools used are a spoon and a shovel. The sugar material is generally red and white sugar with a little maltose, which is boiled on the stove over a low fire. When it can be drawn into a thread, it can be used for casting. The artist scoops up the sugar juice with a small spoon, quickly casts the shape on the stone slab, and then scoops up the sugar painting with a small spatula and sticks it with a bamboo stick, which will solidify later. Influenced by the cultural impact of the north and the south, regional style works have been formed here, which are clear and transparent, lifelike, colorful, and have strong national characteristics and cultural heritage.
