The Tajik people are one of the ancient ethnic groups in my country. They mainly live in Taxkorgan Tajik Autonomous County in Xinjiang, and the rest are distributed in Shache, Yecheng, Zepu and other counties to the east of the county. The indomitable will and the fearless national spirit have gradually formed the special aesthetic pursuit of the Tajik people. They regard the eagle as a strong man and a hero. Folk songs and legends about the eagle are widely spread among the people. Even the origin of the dance is related to the habits and dynamics of the eagle, thus forming the "eagle dance". The formation of the characteristics of Tajik dance is inseparable from the accompanying instruments and their unique playing methods. Eagle flute, hand drum, Labab (Rebab), Bulanzikum, Tajik-style Ejek are all widely used folk instruments. Among them, the eagle flute is the most typical instrument of the Tajik people. The playing technique is complicated, but the tone is unique and beautiful; the hand drum is the main accompaniment instrument of the Tajik dance. When playing, two women beat a hand drum to play a variety of drum beats, which is rare among other ethnic groups. The drum beats have fixed routines and names, such as "Alukatoman", and each set can produce complex and varied artistic effects. During grand horse racing and sheep-grabbing activities, multiple eagle flutes play "Sheep-grabbing Song" and multiple women simultaneously play multi-sided hand drums to play "Wara Wala Heke", which makes the riders and horses very excited. The main forms of eagle dance include "Chafusuzi", "Mailisi", "Lapuyi", etc. "Chafusuzi" means "fast and skilled" in Tajik. It refers to rhythm and is an improvisational and competitive dance form, representing the unique style of Tajik dance. The performance is mainly a duet dance, with a lively form. Dancers can move forward and backward freely, and two or three groups can dance together, or men and women can dance together. During the performance, one man usually invites another man to dance with him. The two men slowly stretch their arms and move slowly along the edge of the field, like two eagles circling and soaring. Then the rhythm becomes faster, and the two men chase and play with each other. Suddenly, they stand shoulder to shoulder and look at each other sideways, walk quickly, and suddenly separate and jump up, like eagles taking off and falcons falling, twisting their bodies from low to high, soaring straight up, and finally the dance ends in a competitive rotation. These dynamic performances are obviously the remains and sublimation of the skills of the Western Region music and dance "Huxuan Dance" and "Huteng Dance". "Mailisi", which means "specific beat", is a self-entertainment dance mainly accompanied by folk music or folk songs. It is also often used to perform traditional story-telling folk songs. It is characterized by continuous rotation in place, and women especially like it. "Lapuyi" is a specific dance form that is performed in the family with only one rebab as accompaniment. Sometimes it is also performed outdoors. The accompaniment is mostly the tune of Chafusuzi. The accompanist can also dance while playing. The dance movements are free and brisk. Skilled performers can place the rebab on their shoulders and play while dancing. This may be a relic of the music and dance customs in the Western Regions. Eagle dance is a very distinctive traditional dance form in Chinese folk dance, with high artistic value. With the acceleration of the modernization process, these precious folk arts are gradually losing their living soil and facing difficulties, and they are in urgent need of protection and rescue.
