This festival has been around for more than 100 years. Every year on the eighth day of the fourth lunar month, the surrounding villages and towns automatically gather together to exchange farm tools, beat gongs and drums, sing community operas, and worship their ancestors. "In the past, every time this festival came, the town was bustling and bustling. Folks came from all directions with their own carefully made farm tools to the town market for trading, but the scale of the transactions was small and the level was not high. With the gradual improvement of Natong Town's transportation conditions and the accelerated process of industrialization and urbanization in the town, coupled with the continuous improvement of people's living standards, the scale of the town's "April 8th" Farm Tools Festival has continued to expand and the level has continued to improve: this year, in order to expand its influence, the local government has added a food festival and a national business festival on the basis of the original "Farm Tools Festival". The product fair will be held from May 7 to 14. The Natong "April 8" Farm Tools Festival is not only a major folk festival in Long'an County, but also an important part of Long'an's "Na" cultural brand.
