El Tajin, Pre-Hispanic City

Located in the state of Veracruz, Tajin reached its peak between the early 9th and early 13th centuries. After the fall of the Teotihuacan Empire, Tajin became the most important center in northeastern Mesoamerica. Its cultural influence spread throughout the Gulf Coast and into the Maya region and the highlands of central Mexico. Its architectural style is unique in Mesoamerica, with elaborate relief carvings on columns and friezes. The "pyramids of niches" are masterpieces of ancient Mexican and American architecture, showing astronomical and symbolic significance of the buildings. Tajin has survived as an outstanding example of the grandeur and importance of pre-Hispanic culture in Mexico.

Baocheng Stone Garden

Baocheng Stone Park is located in Baocheng New Village, Shuangqiaohe Town, Jinnan District, Tianjin. It is the largest natural Lingbi stone artificial stone forest in the world. It has dozens of kinds of strange and famous stones, totaling more than 4,000 pieces, mainly Lingbi stone, known as the "No. 1 stone in the world", and petrified wood and Taihu stone, the treasures among the rocks. The strange stones collected in this park are based on the principle of coming from nature and being higher than nature, and the overall layout is based on their natural shapes. They have high ornamental and collection value. The most eye-catching one is "Buddha Enlightenment Zen", which is 10.07 meters high and weighs 73 tons, known as "Asia's No. 1 Boulder".

Former Site of the Consulate of Manchukuo

The former Manchukuo Consulate is located at the intersection of Wudadao Munan Road and Xinhua Road. The original owner was Li Xuemeng, manager of Dalian Yongyuan Shipping Company. In 1943, Li Xuemeng rented it to the Manchukuo Consulate in Tianjin for 3,000 yuan per month in fake currency until Japan surrendered in 1945. The walls of the building are built with lumpy bricks, and the outer eaves are concave and convex, trying to find changes in the old style. The building has a living room, a dance hall, a restaurant, a Buddhist hall, etc. The fireplaces of various shapes add a bit of charm.
