Silk Roads: the Routes Network of Chang'an-Tianshan Corridor

The site is part of the Silk Road network, which stretched 5,000 km from Chang'an/Luoyang, the capital of China during the Han and Tang dynasties, to the Zhehe region of Central Asia. Formed in the 2nd century BC and 1st century AD, and used until the 16th century, it connected multiple civilizations and facilitated a wide range of activities such as trade, religious beliefs, scientific knowledge, technological innovations, cultural practices and art. The route network includes capitals and palace complexes of various empires and khanates, trading settlements, Buddhist cave temples, ancient roads, post roads, passes, beacon towers, sections of the Great Wall, fortifications, tombs and religious buildings.

Qian'an Great Wall Inn

Qian'an Great Wall National Park is located along the Great Wall in the north of Qian'an City, involving four towns: Wuchong'an Township, Dacuizhuang Town, Jianchangying Town, and Yanggezhuang Town, with a total area of 120 square kilometers and a core scenic area of 60 square kilometers. Qian'an Great Wall National Park was invested by Hong Kong Cyber Shipping Co., Ltd. with 2 billion yuan and carefully built with the Great Wall as the background. Qian'an Great Wall National Park signed a cooperation framework agreement with Hong Kong Cyber Shipping Co., Ltd. at the Hebei Province (Hong Kong) Investment and Trade Fair on April 16, 2012. Qian'an Great Wall National Park was jointly designed by Hong Kong Guo Zhishun Architects Co., Ltd., Huaqiao University, and Shenzhen "Fire" Sand Table Company, with "Great Wall Culture" as the soul and "Characteristic Leisure Great Wall Tourism" as the theme brand. Based on the principle of development while protecting, Qian'an Great Wall National Park has built scenic spots with distinctive features along the 45-kilometer route of the Great Wall in northern Qian'an: ski resorts, car racing tracks, various types of resorts, self-driving and RV camping sites, helicopter Great Wall aerial tours, ancient road stations, outdoor sports, primitive papermaking, carpet and folk exhibitions, 7 major museums and 15 sub-projects including large-scale farm and animal husbandry estates.

Xifengkou Jingdong Chestnut Garden

The Jingdong Chestnut Grand View Garden Cultural Industry Project, founded by the Xifengkou Chestnut Professional Cooperative, is located in Xifengkou, Qianxi County, China's famous chestnut hometown and the place where "The Broadsword March" was born at the foot of the Great Wall. In November 2011, it was rated as a national four-star enterprise for leisure agriculture and rural tourism.

Dong Zhentang Deeds Exhibition Hall

In order to commemorate General Dong Zhentang, the highest-ranking general who participated in the Long March of the Red Army in Hebei Province, the Dong Zhentang Deeds Exhibition Hall was inaugurated on October 26, 2006, the 70th anniversary of the victory of the Long March, with the approval of the Provincial People's Government. In 2009, the Dong Zhentang Deeds Exhibition Hall was named the Hebei Provincial Patriotism Education Base by the Hebei Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government, and was rated as the Xingtai City Integrity Education Base by the Xingtai Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection and the Publicity Department of the Municipal Party Committee. In the same year, in the selection of the "Double Hundred Figures", Dong Zhentang was rated as one of the 100 heroes and model figures who made outstanding contributions to the founding of New China. In 2010, it was listed as a candidate project for the second phase of the national red tourism base. In September 2012, it was rated as the first batch of party history education bases by the Hebei Provincial Government. In 2013, it was successfully declared as a national AA-level red tourism scenic spot.
