Fo Guang Shan Cultural Tourism Area

Fo Guang Shan Tourist Scenic Area is located in Baishuzhuang Village, Beiye Township, Pingshan County, Hebei Province. Wuhushan Tourist Area

Wuhu Mountain, formerly known as Jiushan, has nine peaks lined up on the north bank of the Luan River. There are nine springs on the top and bottom that flow into the Luan River like nine silver dragons. According to historical records, Emperor Kangxi hunted 14 times in Wuhu Mountain. In the 30th year of Kangxi's reign, the emperor visited Wuhu Mountain and captured five tigers. He ordered the name Jiushan to be changed to Wuhu Mountain. Wuhu Mountain is 375 meters above sea level. The main peak is prominent, the mountain is steep, and the vegetation is lush. It still maintains a large area of original secondary forests. The ecological environment is very good and the animal and plant resources are rich. In 2004, the scenic area was developed on a large scale. Now it has built a number of tourist projects such as Luanhe River rafting, Hutan riding, off-road driving, mountain forest exploration, dried and fresh fruit picking, and tropical plant viewing.

Shangfangshan National Forest Park

Shangfang Mountain is located in Hancunhe Town, Fangshan District, Beijing, about 60 kilometers away from downtown Beijing. It is a mountainous natural scenic spot. The total area of the scenic spot is 3.53 square kilometers, and it has the only well-preserved original secondary forest in North China. The forest coverage rate is over 90%, and it has the largest group of famous trees and ancient trees in Beijing, including more than 10 thousand-year-old trees, 34 first-level ancient trees, and more than 4,000 second-level ancient trees. The cypress king, pine king, ginkgo king, and locust king are collectively known as the "four thousand-year-old tree kings". In late autumn, the autumn mountain is as bright as makeup, and the maple, oak, cotinus and other colored tree species in the valley compete for beauty and are gorgeous. The nine caves are: Tianwang Cave, Jiuhuan Cave, Yanshou Cave, Yinyang Cave, Huayan Cave, Vajra Cave, Chaoyang Cave, Xifang Cave, Yunshui Cave; the twelve peaks are: Zijin Ridge, Guanyin Peak, Xiaoyue Peak, Huilong Peak, Pilu Peak, Jinxiu Peak, Xiangwang Peak, Wanghai Peak, Tianzhu Peak, Camel Peak, Chaluo Peak, Shizi Peak, and there are 72 Zen temples headed by "Duolu Temple". It is known as "Suhang in the south and Shangfang in the north". It is a famous plant-rich area, with 103 families, 363 genera, 625 species and 20 variants of vascular plants; 199 species of woody plants and 446 species of herbaceous plants.

Guyuan Jinlian Villa

Laozhanggou Jinlianshan Forest Park (formerly known as Jinlian Mountain Resort) was established in 1995 as a mountain resort-style tourist, summer resort, and holiday resort. It is located in Laozhanggou Forest Farm, Fengyuandian Township, Guyuan County, 50 kilometers away from Guyuan County, with an average altitude of 1,800 meters. The total area of the park is 36,195 mu. Among them, the forest landscape is 2,348.13 hectares, the mountaintop meadow is 1,800 hectares, and the forest coverage rate is 63%. The main forest resources in the park are natural secondary birch forests, followed by large areas of artificial larch forests. In addition, there are also natural maple trees, Yunbin and other precious tree species with great ornamental value. Jinlianshan Forest Park is currently a provincial forest park in the temperate sub-arid climate zone, with continental monsoon climate characteristics, average temperature of about 17 degrees in July and August, about 7.3 degrees in April and May, about 6.6 degrees in September and October, and about -12.1 degrees in January and March. There are more winds and sands in April and May, more thunderstorms in July and August, and more winds and less snow in September and October.
