Shangfangshan National Forest Park
Shangfang Mountain is located in Hancunhe Town, Fangshan District, Beijing, about 60 kilometers away from downtown Beijing. It is a mountainous natural scenic spot. The total area of the scenic spot is 3.53 square kilometers, and it has the only well-preserved original secondary forest in North China. The forest coverage rate is over 90%, and it has the largest group of famous trees and ancient trees in Beijing, including more than 10 thousand-year-old trees, 34 first-level ancient trees, and more than 4,000 second-level ancient trees. The cypress king, pine king, ginkgo king, and locust king are collectively known as the "four thousand-year-old tree kings". In late autumn, the autumn mountain is as bright as makeup, and the maple, oak, cotinus and other colored tree species in the valley compete for beauty and are gorgeous. A poet once described Shangfang Mountain like this: "A forest of autumn leaves dyed by heaven, green and yellow dyed red, only the cypress does not change with frost and dew, and it is still green and dripping with cold frost and wind." There are the famous "Nine Caves and Twelve Peaks" in the park. The nine caves are: Tianwang Cave, Jiuhuan Cave, Yanshou Cave, Yinyang Cave, Huayan Cave, Vajra Cave, Chaoyang Cave, Xifang Cave, Yunshui Cave; the twelve peaks are: Zijin Ridge, Guanyin Peak, Xiaoyue Peak, Huilong Peak, Pilu Peak, Jinxiu Peak, Xiangwang Peak, Wanghai Peak, Tianzhu Peak, Camel Peak, Chaluo Peak, Shizi Peak, and there are 72 Zen temples headed by "Duolu Temple". It is known as "Suhang in the south and Shangfang in the north". It is a famous plant-rich area, with 103 families, 363 genera, 625 species and 20 variants of vascular plants; 199 species of woody plants and 446 species of herbaceous plants.
Mingyang Lake Urban Manor
The park is located in the southeast of Jinnan District, south of Machangjian River, about 150 kilometers from Beijing, 20 kilometers from the central urban area of Tianjin, 12 kilometers from Xianshuigu, the seat of Jinnan District Government, close to Tianjin Port in the east and Dagang Petrochemical Industrial Zone in the south. The town is crisscrossed by Jinqi Highway, Gewan Highway, Jinzibo Highway, Danla Expressway and Jinjin Expressway. It takes 30 minutes to drive from Xiaozhan Town to the center of Tianjin and Binhai New Area, with obvious location advantages. The total area of Mingyang Lake Urban Modern Agricultural Park in Jinnan District is 6385.3 mu. The plot is passed by Xiaozhan Central Road, dividing the plot into two areas, north and south. The plot to the north of Xiaozhan Central Road covers an area of 2467.0 mu, and the plot to the south covers an area of 3918.3 mu. The park is divided into 9 functional areas: three-dimensional planting area, ecological breeding area, rice planting area, facility vegetable area, science and technology demonstration area, fruit picking area, urban agricultural area, logistics and trade area, and comprehensive planting area.
Shijiazhuang Botanical Garden
Shijiazhuang Botanical Garden is a park with the theme of plant landscape appreciation. It is a suburban green ecological leisure base integrating popular science research, leisure and entertainment. It covers an area of 167.1 hectares, including 38.7 hectares of water surface and 102 hectares of green land. It brings together 1,136 species of plants and hundreds of thousands of plants (more than 600 species in the open field), with trees, shrubs and grasses, greening, beautification and fragrance, becoming a place where plants from the north and south gather, and is known as the "Green Plant Kingdom". Shijiazhuang Botanical Garden is generally divided into four parts: plant exhibition area, scenic spot browsing and entertainment area, research and experimental area, and life management area. In terms of design, it draws on domestic and foreign gardening and landscaping techniques. The whole garden overlaps high and low and follows the terrain of the mountain. The botanical garden is divided into two parts: indoor exhibition hall and outdoor exhibition area. The indoor exhibition area is divided into three exhibition halls, boutique bonsai exhibition hall, comprehensive exhibition hall, and school exhibition hall. It mainly displays excellent works from all over the country. The outdoor exhibition area consists of three scenic spots, mainly displaying large piles planted on land. In addition, there are also a tea house, a coffee shop, a pottery bar, a flower arrangement art gallery, a strange stone museum, etc.
