Longmen Ecological Park Scenic Area
Beijing Longmen Ecological Park is located in Hancunhe Town, Fangshan District. It began to be built in 2004. The Tiankai Buddha Relic Pagoda, which is famous both at home and abroad, was built, and Buddhist areas such as Tiankai Temple, Chanting Buddha Hall, and Guanyin Cave were rebuilt. The more than 1,680 acres of barren hills and ridges have been transformed into a natural oxygen bar with lush vegetation, singing birds and fragrant flowers. In September 2010, Longmen Ecological Park became a place for religious activities. Longmen Ecological Park is a new generation of cultural model integrating elderly care, health preservation, and tourism, and has contributed to social harmony. The Longmenkou Reservoir was built in the 1970s. Due to years of drought, there was little water stored, and the reservoir was surrounded by barren hills and slopes. Today, the reservoir can store 600,000 cubic meters of water after deep dredging and strengthening the embankment. Looking west from the Yudai Bridge on the reservoir dam, the 396-acre water surface is rippling with clear waves, and wild ducks fly up and down, sometimes playing in the water, and sometimes spreading their wings to the grass on the shore. The octagonal building is like a golden key. The tender willows in early spring are blowing in the wind. When you touch the willow branches with your hands, they are as soft as silk ribbons. The reflection in the water is like a mirror. The spring breeze blows on the water surface. People and willow branches sway in the water together, which is really refreshing. Outside Tiankai Temple, the apricot blossoms are fragrant and the spring is bright. Walking on the mountain road surrounded by green forests, the fiery red mountain peach blossoms and the pink and white apricot blossoms come into view one after another. The peach blossoms are all over the mountains and plains. The peach blossoms welcome the spring but do not compete for spring. They only add splendor to the mountains and forests, and help tourists with their bright future. On Jinshan Mountain to the north of the reservoir, the barren mountains and bald hills of the past have become an ideal leisure place with pine and cypress roofs, red flowers and green willows. Visitors wandering here will see peaches, fragrant white apricots, and jujubes on the hillside full of fruits. The red peaches, white apricots, and purple dates gather thousands of poetic sentiments.
