Zunhua Chanlin Temple Ancient Ginkgo Scenic Area

The Chanlin Temple Ancient Ginkgo Scenic Area is located in Chanlin Temple Village, Houjiazhai Township, Zunhua City, Hebei Province. It is a national AAA-level scenic area. The Chanlin Temple Ancient Ginkgo Scenic Area is backed by the Great Wall in the north, Prajna Lake in the south, Jiufeng Mountain in the east, and the Eastern Qing Tombs in the west, with a total area of 6.6 square kilometers. It is backed by the Great Wall in the north, looks at the capital in the west, faces Tianjin and Tang in the south, and connects to Liaoshen in the east. It belongs to the hinterland of Beijing, Tianjin, Tang, Chengde, and Qin. It is 158 kilometers west of Beijing, 175 kilometers southwest of Tianjin (Binhai New Area), 75 kilometers south of Tangshan (155 kilometers from Caofeidian), 175 kilometers north of Chengde, and 150 kilometers southeast of Qinhuangdao. The area is surrounded by mountains, towering ancient trees, solemn temples, and the Great Wall is majestic, and it is well-known. The Chanlin Temple Ancient Ginkgo Scenic Area is famous for its "three ancients" of ancient mountains, ancient temples, and ancient trees.

Zunhua Huanghua Mountain Scenic Area

According to the Jizhou Chronicles during the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty, Huanghua Mountain is 45 miles northeast of the prefecture. It is majestic and winding, with lush pine forests. There is a Jade Emperor Temple on top. The iron tiles are without beams, but now they are replaced with glazed tiles with beams and pillars. In fact, this mountain was famous as early as the Ming Dynasty. Ma Sigong of the Ming Dynasty praised the beauty of the mountain. The peaks are secluded and like stars, the sky and water are clear and fresh, the sky is blue, the world is gradually fading, and white clouds are suddenly rising. From the "Huanghua Mountain Xinglong Temple Stele Inscription" by Ma Sigong of the Ming Dynasty included in the Jizhou Chronicles during the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty and the "Record of the Reconstruction of Wanshou Xinglong Temple" by Xu Jiayan of the Qing Dynasty, people can clearly understand the development and construction history of Huanghua Mountain. At present, Huanghua Mountain has been officially opened to tourists as another new tourist scenic spot in Zunhua City.

Zunhua Shangguan Lake

Shangguan Lake, formerly known as Shangguan Reservoir, is located in Shangguan Village, Malanyu Town, Zunhua City, Hebei Province, 24 kilometers away from Zunhua City. It is adjacent to the Great Wall in the north, Tangquan in the east, and Dongling in the west. The scenic area is full of green mountains, rippling blue waves, and unique rocks. There is a 30,000-square-meter island in the lake. The Jiguan Mountain, which looks like a rooster crowing, the Shuangru Mountain named after two white boulders, and the Heishui Valley with clear blue waves, constitute a natural landscape. The Shen'ao Island, the Turtle Fairy Cave, the Sky-supporting Stone, the Lake Island, the Male and Female Fighting, the Tianshu Mountain, the Fairy Looking in the Mirror, and other wonders are pleasing to the eye; it is a good place for travel enthusiasts to climb mountains, row boats, swim, fish, recite poems, paint, sing, dance, skate, and enjoy the snow.
