Historic Centre of Telč
Telč is located on a hilltop and its houses were originally made of wood. After a fire in the late 14th century, the city was rebuilt in stone and fortified with a wall and a network of artificial ponds. At the end of the 15th century, the city's Gothic castle was rebuilt in the High Gothic style.
Summer Palace, an Imperial Garden in Beijing
The Summer Palace in Beijing was first built in 1750, mostly destroyed in the war of 1860, and restored on the original site in 1886. It is a masterpiece of Chinese garden design. Dongjiang Bay Scenic Area
Dongjiang Bay Scenic Area is the largest artificial beach in northern my country. It is located in the southeastern tourist and leisure resort area of Dongjiang Port Area of Tianjin Port. It faces the Bohai Sea to the east and has convenient road traffic network: Beijing-Tianjin Second Line, Beijing-Tianjin-Tangshan Expressway, and Tianjin-Binhai Expressway, which provide tourists from Beijing and Tianjin with the same time guarantee. It only takes more than one hour to experience the sun, beach, sea water, green, air, and urban leisure entertainment and vacation. Binhai Road is located on the west side of the artificial beach. It is 1.3 kilometers long and 24 meters wide. It is a walking and viewing road in the scenic area. It is also the main road to listen to the waves and feel the sea breeze. The beach sports area provides tourists with free beach volleyball and beach football sports venues. It is a special experience to have a beach football and volleyball competition with your back to the sea. The beach entertainment area has introduced advanced and stimulating smart cars and beach motorcycles that allow tourists to experience the aftertaste and indulgence of their youth on the beach.
Qiaoyuan Park, Hedong District, Tianjin
Qiaoyuan Park is located in the southeast corner of the Weiguo Road Interchange, the key point of Hedong in Tianjin, and the gateway to the city landscape. It opens out in a fan shape to the northwest and covers an area of 22 hectares. It was originally an abandoned shooting range and a low-lying saline-alkali land. Qiaoyuan was designed according to local conditions. It used the original target mountain and several fish ponds to build an artificial wetland park. It has the first-level greening standard of urban gardens. It is a national 3A-level tourist attraction and the largest artificial ecological wetland park in the six districts of Tianjin. The park covers an area of 400 mu, of which the ecological water area is nearly 200 mu. The floor area ratio is less than 0.04, which has incomparable ecological advantages. 14 high and low wetland bubbles are dotted in between, and more than 100 kinds of plants are planted, including 20 aquatic plants, 43 trees and shrubs, and 40 perennial plants. There are 16 flat bridges and arch bridges connecting the waters in the park. It is the park with the most bridges in Tianjin. In addition to the bridges connecting the waters, there is also a trail trestle crossing it. All bridges in the park are made of wood, showing the concept of returning to nature in the ecological park. The Creative Bridge Park aims to create an ecological and creative park with "ecological fashion as its feature and leisure tourism as its core". At the 2009 World Architecture Festival held in Barcelona, Spain, it won the "Global Best Landscape Award", which is the first time that a Chinese urban park has won this honor. In 2010, it won the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) Comprehensive Design Honor Award.
Langfang Natural Park
There are two fountains in front of the park, and children's play areas are set up on both sides of the main road, equipped with bumper cars, karts, forest drifting, pirate ships and other recreational facilities. In the middle of the park is an artificial lake covering an area of 100 acres. With the artificial lake as the center, a new cultural stele forest is built on the earthen hill in the west of the lake. There is an animal viewing area in the north. On the east side of the lake, there are 8 white marble elephant sculptures of different sizes on the lawn, which are lifelike. There is a rock garden in the northeast, and a "Beijing Style" club with the layout of a Qing Dynasty quadrangle is built on the south side. It is luxurious, elegant and antique. The park has also opened up many memorial forests such as the Youth Forest, the Women's Forest, the Bayi Forest, the Parent-Child Forest, the Public Servant Forest, and the Citizen Forest. The natural park attracts visitors from all directions with its wild and charming landscape, and has become a good place for people to relax and cultivate their sentiments on holidays.
Xinglong Park
Xinglong Park (formerly known as Xinglong Forest) was first built on February 22, 1992 and completed in December 1995. It covers a total area of 780 mu, with 9,360 square meters of roads in the park, eight hills, and a 45-mu artificial lake. The total investment is about 30 million yuan. Through planning, many scenic spots have been formed. The small lake has winding water and secluded scenery. The white jade stone bridge on the lake has become a central landscape. There is a waterside pavilion on the west side of the lake, an octagonal double-eaved pavilion on the south side of the mountain, and a moon-viewing pavilion on the north side of the lake. The initial Xinglong Forest was built. So far, the park has a history of 13 years. There are more than 81,000 trees and shrubs in the park, and various leisure and entertainment facilities have been built. In March 2002, it was approved as a first-level park in Beijing by the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Landscape Architecture.
