Sheyang Pingshu is a folk art project in the fifth batch of representative projects of municipal intangible cultural heritage. Pingshu is a Mandarin speaking performance based on northern dialect and Beijing dialect, which has been passed down since the Han Dynasty. It is also called storytelling and narration. It is commonly known as narration in Guangdong and Cantonese areas, and was called narration in ancient times. It is an ancient Chinese traditional oral performance art form. By the middle of the 20th century, most of them no longer used tables and chairs, folding fans, wake-up sticks and other props, but stood up to speak, and the costumes were less fixed.
