Lu's rheumatism therapy is a traditional medicine project in the fourth batch of representative projects of Wuxi's municipal intangible cultural heritage. Lu's rheumatism therapy is mainly characterized by the treatment of arthralgia, and is good at treating arthralgia that is difficult to cure. Arthralgia is mostly caused by internal deficiency of Yingwei, loose pores, and the combination of wind, cold and dampness. Treatment is based on dialectical selection of prescriptions and medicines according to the emphasis of wind, cold and dampness, with the basic principles of expelling evil and unblocking meridians, activating blood circulation and regulating qi, and supplemented by methods such as resolving phlegm, removing blood stasis, and searching for wind. In the treatment of wind, cold and dampness, experience is constantly accumulated, and pungent, hot and toxic products such as Chuanwu and Caowu are boldly used in appropriate symptoms. The sharp qi of aconite is used to dredge meridians and benefit joints, find a path to reach the diseased area directly, warm the meridians and relieve pain, and the effect is definite; and it is combined with cinnamon twig, asarum, and Eucommia ulmoides to treat stubborn arthralgia, which has a significant effect. The Lu family wind department has been passed down for seven generations and has a wide reputation. Many patients come from Jiangyin, Changshu, Changzhou, Suzhou, Wuxi, Jingjiang and other places. In the past hundred years, through family inheritance and learning in colleges and universities, it has continuously developed and developed unique and effective diagnosis and treatment concepts and methods, benefiting many people.
