Gaozhou woodcuts are simple and delicate, and are mostly made of "pine wood boards", which can be single-color or multi-color. Folk artists had already printed paper and ink New Year pictures in the Ming Dynasty. In the early Republic of China, some authors began to publish their works in newspapers and magazines, and they were gradually popularized after liberation. Representative works include "Red Mountains", "Greenery in Bamboo Village", "Adding Flowers", "On the Road of Mechanized Farming", etc. It has aesthetic functions and research value of art and folklore.
