Huayang Palace Ancient Buildings is an ancient Taoist temple in Jinan. It is located in the northeast of Jinan, in the plain area south of the Yellow River and north of Xiaoqing River. It is adjacent to Huashan (also known as Huabuzhu) in the north and Jingguang Lake (also known as Jinguang Lake) in the south. It is the largest ancient building complex in Jinan. At the same time, there are more than 500 square meters of ancient murals. Therefore, it was announced as the first batch of key cultural relics protection units by the Jinan Municipal Government on September 3, 1979. Huayang Palace is so called because it is located on the south side of Huashan. Huashan is also known as "Huabuzhu" Mountain. "Hua" is the same as "Hua" in ancient times. "Bu" is the original character of (fu), which is pronounced like "fu", "meaning flower pedicle, saying that this mountain is lonely and beautiful, like the fu of a flower pouring into the water" ("Shandong Archaeological Records" quoted from Fu Shen's "Sanqi Records"). Before the Jin Dynasty, there was a vast expanse of land between Huashan Mountain and Queshan Mountain, which was connected to Daming Lake. The historical books called it Queshan Lake, also known as Lotus Seed Lake. Huashan Mountain stands alone, with five adjacent mountains nearby. Its reflection in the water is like a lotus in the water, hence the name. Huayang Palace is a temple in the ancient building complex. Because it is the largest and has the longest history, it is generally called Huayang Palace in spoken language. In fact, there are also Taoist temples such as Cotton Hall, Dragon King Temple, Three Emperors Palace, Three Yuan Palace, Guandi Temple, Taishan Palace, and Buddhist Pure Land Temple. There are many temples and different statues, which were called "Jinan Giant View" by the ancients. (No pictures yet, welcome to provide.) (No pictures yet, welcome to provide.)
