Hongshikan Village Embroidery is the embroidery art of Zhang Xiaoying from Hongshikan Village, Jinhaihu Town, Pinggu District. It was first created by He Wangshi in the late Qing Dynasty. It was admired by local rural housewives and they competed to learn the art. It has been passed down through four generations. Most of the embroidery works of Hongshikan Village are based on life, with simple and unsophisticated patterns, rich and bright colors, exquisite and delicate embroidery craftsmanship, and full of vitality. Representative works include "Pine and Crane Longevity" and "Dragon and Phoenix Bring Good Luck".
