Pinggu Folk Paper-cutting is the paper-cutting art of Li Mingxia from Xiaoyuzi Village, Dahuashan Town, Pinggu District. She has been influenced by her family environment since she was young, and her knife skills are exquisite. Her works emphasize the beauty of lines and shapes; the composition and modeling are patterned; the images are simple and exaggerated with a sense of rhythm. The main themes are people, flowers, birds, fish, insects, auspicious concepts and folk customs, with a strong local flavor.
