Bamboo curtain painting is a kind of arts and crafts first created in Sichuan. Due to the combination of painting and embroidery, bamboo embroidery curtains play the advantages of both skills and avoid their respective shortcomings. For example, in the panda and tiger pictures, the hair of the animals and the clothes of the characters are more lifelike and have a strong texture due to the needlework of Shu embroidery, while the faces are more vivid with the painting technique.
