The stilts in Jiantou Village began in the late Qing Dynasty and have been passed down for four generations. The characteristics are excellent stilt stick skills, complete singing and lyrics, rich content and profound connotation. It integrates the essence of the five art forms of "song, dance, drama, acrobatics and martial arts", forms its own system, and has a bold and humorous performance style, superb skills and strong observability. There are twelve roles in the stilts in Jiantou Village, each with its own performance routines and neat lyrics, and divided into civil stilts and martial stilts. Civil stilts focus on singing skills; martial stilts emphasize action skills. Before liberation, the stilts in Jiantou Village were once known as the "No. 1 stilts in northern Beijing". As an outstanding representative of the Manchu and northern Beijing stilts, it is rooted in the cultural soil of the nation, has a strong visual impact, and represents the aesthetic orientation of the people; it grows in a certain folk space, has a deep folk cultural heritage, and is a vivid folk customs painting.
