The traditional brewing techniques of Wulong liquor include the traditional brewing techniques of Wulong cave-stored liquor and the traditional brewing techniques of Zhaojiahua liquor. The traditional brewing techniques of Wulong cave-stored liquor are the ancient crafts of brewing and cave-stored sorghum liquor passed down by the Huang family of Dongshan Dongwan, Changba Town, Wulong District for hundreds of years. When the Huguang people were sent to Sichuan, the Huang family moved from Jiangxi to Changba. By the time of the seventh-generation descendant Huang Yingzhi, they had mastered the brewing techniques and made a living by roasting liquor. In the early days of the founding of the People's Republic of China, in order to avoid the invasion of bandits, in addition to preparing for daily trading needs, the Huang family hid the remaining liquor in the nearby Dongwan Yanqian. In the end, it was discovered that the liquor hidden in the cave had a mellow and heavy taste and was more popular. From then on, the Huang family stopped selling liquor and started selling Dongwan-stored liquor instead. The Huang family also set a rule that liquor would not leave the cave for three years after entering the cave. The Huang family's cave-stored liquor with ancient brewing and storage techniques became famous in the village because of its quality and reputation. The traditional brewing technique of Zhaojiahuajiu is a national craft wine drink passed down from generation to generation by the Miao people, suitable for drinking all year round. It is a "fine wine" brewed by traditional pure hand-made, no additives, and pure grains. It is also the wine used by the Miao people to entertain guests. In the past, the Miao people used local high-quality grains according to their production and living environment. Relying on the unique local climate and water conditions, the locals chose to use local high-quality corn or sorghum, supplemented by unique mountain springs, and naturally brewed a mellow and delicious flower wine. In 2019, it was included in the sixth batch of Chongqing Intangible Cultural Heritage Representative Project List. (No pictures yet, welcome to provide.) (No pictures yet, welcome to provide.)
