Da Ge: Da Ge is mainly spread in the Yi ethnic group settlements in Chuxiong, Dali, Lijiang, Baoshan, Lincang, Simao, Yuxi, Honghe and other regions. Different regions have different names, so it is also called jumping song, fighting song, fighting dance, stomping left foot, left foot dance, falling foot and jumping sheng. Da Ge is a collective dance, with dozens of people at least, hundreds of people at most, and sometimes even thousands of people. When fighting song, the people who play the reed sticks, flute, moon guitar and four strings blow, play and dance in the circle, and the rest of the dancers form a circle and dance to the rhythm of the reed pipe, flute and moon guitar. The dance steps include stepping and stomping. There are steps such as jumping, lifting legs, swinging and crossing the room, and dance movements such as "eight feet through flowers", "flower flies rubbing feet", "cross blossoming", "rooster wagging tail", "old cow rubbing back", "eagle spreading wings" and "magpie climbing branches". When singing, they also sing the tune of the song. The tune of the song is fixed, short, beautiful, lively and jumping. In addition to the traditional lyrics, the lyrics are often improvised, with each party answering each other, questioning each other, and comparing their talents. The Yi people have a long history of singing. Since the Tang Dynasty, there have been many records in Chinese historical books and local chronicles. On the wall of the Wenlong Pavilion of the Xinuluo Patrol Mountain Hall in Weishan, there is a mural of the Yi people singing in the Qing Dynasty. Under the big pine tree with dragon scales and twisted branches, dozens of people formed a circle, one person played the sheng, one played the flute, and one danced. It is exactly the same as the singing form of the Weishan Yi people today. After liberation, the singing has participated in song and dance performances at home and abroad and is very popular among the masses.
