Qingyang Folk Songs
Qingyang was the birthplace of China's farming culture, where the Zhou Dynasty's distant ancestor Gong Liu taught people how to farm. It is also the place where Zhou Dynasty customs and primitive multi-ethnic cultures collided and merged. The folk culture has a long history and rich content. During the thousands of years of labor life, folk art and folk songs that reflect the thoughts and feelings of the common people were created. As early as the Zhou Dynasty in my country, poems chanting the ancient Bin society and the lives of the ancestors were produced, which were included in the earliest collection of poems in my country, The Book of Songs, such as "Bin Feng July", "Daya Gong Liu", "Xiaoya Caiwei", "Bin Feng Dongshan", etc. They either express the joys and sorrows of farmers' labor, or express the homesickness of soldiers, or praise the merits of Zhou ancestors, etc. There are many folk songs in Qingyang with rich contents. In terms of the forms of expression, there are mainly labor songs and ditties, especially ditties, which mainly include grievance songs, labor songs, life songs, marriage songs, love songs, historical legend songs, ritual songs, etc. The lyrics mostly use metaphors, exaggerations, overlaps, homophony and other expression techniques, mainly seven-character sentences. If there are four sentences, the first, second and fourth sentences rhyme, and if there are two sentences, all sentences rhyme. The music tunes are mostly national Hui mode, and the form structure is mostly two-phrase single-segment body or four-phrase single-segment body. The two phrases reflect the symmetry characteristics, and the four phrases reflect the structural characteristics of the national music of beginning, development, transition and combination, which has important folk art research value. Qingyang folk songs are highly condensed and sublimated from the daily life and psychological feelings of the working people. They are gradually developed through oral transmission and sung from generation to generation. They fully reflect the folk customs and personality characteristics of the Qingyang people. The language is simple and true, and the artistic form and expression methods are concise and refined. They are very inclusive and permeable, and have a wide influence. For example, "Our Leader Mao Zedong" and "Military and Civilian Production" have become popular all over the country. The reason is that the authors have absorbed the musical materials of Qingyang folk songs.
