Sanbei Xiaoluoshu
Sanbei Xiaoluoshu, formerly known as Sanbei Singing News, originated from the old society when farmers who worked as long-term workers outside used a bowl and chopsticks as accompaniment for leisure time, and composed and sang some life rhymes to entertain themselves. It is said that it has been passed down for a long time. Later, Guancheng and Kandun artists Shen Yunqing, Chai Gaofu and others added some storylines and news content to their singing, and gradually developed and transformed into a form commonly known as "singing news". Because the singers and the content they sang mostly took place in Ci (Xi) Bei, (Yu) Yao Bei and Zhen (Hai) Bei (the old name of Sanbei), it is also called "Sanbei Singing News". After the 1960s, artist Hu Xinchang borrowed this artistic technique to explore and innovate, with one person singing while beating a small gong, and at the same time combining some current political content in the singing, thus creating a new singing form of "Sanbei Xiaoluoshu". It is sung in the local dialect. Generally, a small gong is struck first to quiet the audience, and then the singing begins. After singing a paragraph, the small gong is struck again to connect the singers. This not only gives the singers a break, but also can create an atmosphere and continue singing the next paragraph. The singing can be interspersed with narration, and this goes back and forth until the end of the singing. When singing, the lyrics are required to be rhymed, catchy and smooth. At the same time, the artist should also insert some common jokes in life according to the situation on the scene to adjust the audience's emotions and increase the performance effect. When performing, it is generally enough to wear clean and tidy casual clothes or common clothes. In formal competitions or performances, you can also wear a long gown and a little light makeup. Before the 1980s, the performance content was mostly local news. Later, it was mostly fresh stories happening in the local area and coordinated with current political propaganda. Many of his works such as "The County Magistrate Makes Friends with Me" that he created and sang have won provincial and municipal awards. Now this singing form has won people's love. However, there are only three successors to the art. The local government is preparing to protect this singing art by publishing relevant collections, providing necessary support funds, and training successors.
