Tai Chi is a treasure of oriental culture and an ancient wonder of Chinese martial arts. Over the past hundreds of years, it has spawned many schools, including Chen, Yang, Wu, Wu, Sun, and He, which are well-known at home and abroad. Chen Tai Chi appeared in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties. It was created by Chen Wangting from Chenjiagou, Wen County, Jiaozuo City, Henan Province, after careful research. Tai Chi is a unique form of exercise that combines combat, physical fitness, fitness, intelligence, and cultivation of the mind, which contains the profound connotation of oriental philosophy. It integrates the unity of opposites such as yin and yang, movement and stillness, positive and negative, existence and non-existence, and form and spirit into martial arts, and strengthens the body and fitness in a form of exercise that conforms to the laws of human movement, reflecting the endless vitality of the Chinese nation. However, due to the influence and impact of various factors such as industrialization, globalization, and market economy, the contemporary development of Chen Tai Chi is facing difficulties. Its cultural connotation is gradually disappearing, the original cultural ecological environment has been destroyed, and many boxing and weapon routines are on the verge of being lost. In recent years, although the people's governments of Jiaozuo City and Wen County have taken a series of protection measures in terms of policies, financial investment, popularization and promotion, the development of Chen Tai Chi is still not optimistic, the endangered situation remains severe, and further protection is urgently needed.
