The Dai papermaking pouring method can be called the "living fossil" of papermaking technology. This technique, together with the handmade papermaking technique of the Naxi people, was included in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage list in 2006, named "Handmade papermaking technique of the Dai and Naxi people". The Dai project sites are Mangtuan Village, Mengding Town, Gengma County, Lincang City, Yunnan Province, and Mangshi Village, Yongde County. (No pictures yet, welcome to provide.)
