Huashan Rock Paintings are located on the banks of the Ming River, 25 kilometers northwest of Ningming County. Created in the Spring and Autumn Period, they embody the diligence, bravery and wisdom of the Luoyue ancestors. During the festival, there are large-scale opening ceremonies, folk songs and other folk activities, as well as art and folk photography exhibitions and economic and trade fairs. The Chongzuo (Ningming) International Huashan Cultural Festival is rich in content, among which the highlight is the 10,000-person public sacrifice ceremony for the Luoyue ancestors, which has always attracted much attention. The sacrificial ceremony aims to inherit and carry forward the traditional culture of the Luoyue nation and continuously enhance the descendants of the Luoyue people's cognition and identity with their roots. During the cultural festival, various original folk cultural and sports activities are interspersed, which is unique.
