The incense dragon dance is a traditional folk dance that is popular in Luokou Village, Huilong Village, Guqi Village, Sichong Village Committee, Dafa Yao Autonomous Township, Pingle County, Guilin City; Dangui Village, Fuyao Village Committee; Zhujia Village, Tangchong Village Committee, etc. The movements are vigorous and simple, and the steps are mainly Dingbu, Maobu, Liaobu, Paotangbu, etc. The dragon dancer dances the incense dragon with the steps. During the Spring Festival (from the first to the fifteenth day of the first lunar month), more than 10 to dozens of Yao people dance the incense dragon tied with straw, singing and dancing, and go from house to house to greet the Yao compatriots in each village to welcome the arrival of the New Year. According to the order of dancing the "incense dragon dance" to greet the Yao compatriots, the "incense dragon dance" is divided into "greeting the new year" and "saying goodbye to the new year"; according to the number of people in each village, it is divided into one dragon and two or more "incense dragon dance".
