Qinglong Gelangbang
Qinglong Gelangbang is a form of Qinshui folk dance. It was created in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, and was popular in the Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China. It has a history of more than 400 years. Qinglong Village is blocked from transportation. In ancient times, it was a place that soldiers and bandits had to fight for. This special geographical environment is the main historical reason for the emergence of Qinglong Gelangbang, a folk cultural heritage. The basic content of Qinglong Gelangbang performances is mostly opera martial arts stories and war scenes. The basic content of its performances is generally "Battle of Youzhou", "Wagangzhai", "Three Attacks on Zhujiazhuang", "Xue Rengui's Expedition to the West" and other opera stories. The main props of Qinglong Gelangbang performances are "Gelangbang" and "Gelangxu". At the same time, the name of this folk art performance is also named after the props. The uniqueness of the props is that it is neither imitated from traditional opera guns and sticks, nor directly used as traditional opera fighting weapons, but purely processed from local materials from people's lives. The musical accompaniment of Qinglong Gelangbang is mainly percussion instruments, with no regular or fixed accompaniment tunes. Various drum music and actors' slogans are compiled to enhance the atmosphere of the performance. Only when entering and exiting the performance, and when the actors are performing, they do not speak or sing, but only certain slogans and drum music are used to enhance the performance effect. Although Qinglong Gelangbang has been excavated and rescued with the support of the province, city and county in recent years, and has undergone some new reforms and developments in its costumes, props and performance forms, its development and improvement are difficult due to regional economic poverty and lack of activity platforms, and it is also facing an endangered situation.
