Liqun Group is a cross-regional, multi-format, comprehensive joint-stock commercial enterprise group with a history of more than 70 years. In November 1994, the 38,000-square-meter Liqun Commercial Building, which was built by the group and integrates shopping, entertainment, catering and accommodation, was completed and put into operation, marking the beginning of the "re-entrepreneurship" of the Liqun Group. Since 1997, the Liqun Group has taken a steady and rapid expansion path through various expansion methods such as self-construction, leasing, mergers and acquisitions, and holding, and has taken steady and cautious steps. In 2007, Liqun Group achieved annual commodity sales of 12.236 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 21%, and realized profits and taxes of 404 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 44%, maintaining its leading position in Shandong Province's business for six consecutive years. In 2008, the group's sales reached 13.8 billion, a year-on-year increase of 12.8%.
