Pottery firing technique (Dezhou black pottery firing technique), a local traditional technique of Dezhou City, Shandong Province, is one of the national intangible cultural heritages. Black pottery is a typical representative of the "Longshan Culture" dating back more than 4,000 years, and is known as "the art of earth and fire, the crystallization of power and beauty". Dezhou has unearthed cultural relics such as li and thin-walled black pottery cups, and took the lead in developing and reproducing black pottery in the 1970s, which had a great impact throughout the country. Liangzi black pottery has formed a comprehensive black pottery industry platform integrating research, production, sales, and experience display. It has 8 craft masters, 26 arts and crafts artists, and a professional team of nearly 100 people. Nearly 1,000 varieties are sold all over the world, extending the black pottery industry chain and driving employment for thousands of people. It has become a leading enterprise in Dezhou's cultural industry, a key cultural enterprise in Shandong Province, a protection unit of the national intangible cultural heritage "Dezhou black pottery firing technique", and a base of the National Federation of Social Sciences. Liangzi black pottery works are collected by major museums, and nearly 100 works have won awards in various competitions.
