Representatives of Taihe clay sculptures, Li Haohua, Sang Chenglin and Xu Zhiqiang, have outstanding clay sculpture skills. Li Haohua, a member of the China Folk Artists Association, has loved painting and clay sculpture since childhood. When he was a child, he liked to mold some livestock, poultry, birds and the like, especially clay frogs. Known as "Li-Li", he went to Tianjin "Clay Man Zhang" studio to learn art for five years, created a large number of figures and colored sculptures, and was often invited to perform at domestic and foreign art exhibitions. In 1998, his sculpture "Eight Immortals" won the second prize in the Folk Crafts Exhibition of the China Folk Culture and Art Festival. In 2008, Li Haohua's work "Tieguai Li" won the silver medal in the Anhui Folk Crafts Exhibition. In August 2009, he went to the Lou Kau House, a world cultural heritage in Macau, for an exhibition, and the Macau Special Administrative Region Government issued a certificate of appreciation. Xu Zhiqiang, a middle school art teacher, spent three years to create the work "Thousand Frogs Welcome the Olympics" in 2008.
