Straw painting is named after the straw it is made of. It originated in the Qing Dynasty and is flourishing in the present. After years of research and development on the Qing Dynasty straw painting treasures, it inherits the traditional craftsmanship and constantly innovates. It uses many advanced techniques to skillfully express the natural color of straw. In dealing with the distance and light and shade of the picture, it does not use color, but uses a unique process of ironing without losing gloss to express it, making the picture three-dimensional, jeweled, and antique, giving people a beautiful enjoyment. Straw painting is divided into word screens and painting screens. Two formats, glass frame and painted hard board, have been produced. Hanging, standing, and seated, large, medium and small, with a variety of calligraphy and painting patterns, can be harmonious with modern furniture decorations of various styles and colors, complement each other, and are pleasing to the eye. They are widely used in permanent indoor decorations such as homes, hotels, shops, and conference halls. (Weinan)
