Chief's Island[edit]
Chief's Island, the largest island in the delta, was formed by a fault line which uplifted an area over 70xc2xa0km long (43xc2xa0mi) and 15xc2xa0km wide (9.3xc2xa0mi).
The natural habitats of the nominated area are diverse and include permanent and seasonal rivers and lagoons, permanent swamps, seasonal and occasionally flooded grasslands, riparian forest, dry deciduous woodlands, and island communities.
