From the northern end of the libraryxe2x80x94in which is housed the largest pipe organ in private ownership in Europe, built by England's great organ builder Henry Willis & Sonsxe2x80x94access is obtained to the raised colonnade which leads to the chapel (H).
The chapel is perfectly balanced on the eastern side of the palace by the vaulted kitchen.
The organ in the chapel was built circa 1853 by Robert Postill of York:[37] it is notable as a rare unaltered example of this fine builder's work, speaking boldly and clearly into a generous acoustic.
